Chris Penny

Chris Penny has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Currently, they hold the position of Group Strategic Projects Director (Sales) and Chief of Staff to the COO at Vertu Motors plc since December 2021. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing strategic projects and providing support to the COO. Prior to this, they worked at Auto Trader UK, where they held various positions including Squad Lead - Retailer Education & Insight, Franchise Brand Director, Account Director, and Account Executive. During their time at Auto Trader, they collaborated with external customers and internal teams to facilitate digital transformation, enhance transparency in the marketplace, and provide advisory services related to consumer behavior, digital strategy, and performance improvement. Before joining Auto Trader, Chris served as a New Business Manager at XLCR Vehicle Management Limited and as a Business Manager at Motorpoint. Additionally, they gained experience as a Customer Relationship Manager at First Response Finance in 2007 and 2008. Overall, Chris Penny has demonstrated expertise in strategic project management, leadership, and fostering strong relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
