Josh W. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Josh started their career as a Work Experience Student at The University of Huddersfield, where they gained exposure to various IT systems and assisted in troubleshooting IT issues. Josh then worked as a Work Experience Student at Cummins Inc., assisting in the testing and assembly of turbochargers and writing scripts for data analysis. Josh also had a brief work experience at Capgemini.
In 2014, Josh joined Longley Farm as a Dairy/Distribution Operative, where they worked in different sectors such as Warehouse/Distribution, Production/Manufacturing, and Quality Control. Josh demonstrated strong teamwork skills and took on managerial duties when needed.
Josh worked at ITSOL Managed Services Ltd as an Apprentice Service Desk Technician, providing support to a wide range of clients. Most recently, Josh joined Vertu Motors plc as an IT Field Engineer. Josh is responsible for providing field support to multiple dealerships across Yorkshire and the Darlington area. Their responsibilities include on-site support and configuration of switching infrastructure, deployment of phone systems, and support for manufacturer systems.
Throughout their various roles, Josh has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
Josh W. attended Holmfirth High School from 2010 to 2015, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2015, they enrolled in Huddersfield New College and studied Information Technology until 2017. Following this, Josh joined Baltic Apprenticeships in 2017 for a L3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship, which they completed in 2018.
In terms of additional certifications, Josh obtained the following: Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Mist AI (JNCIA-MistAI) from Juniper Networks in September 2021, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021, CSCS Certified (Labourer) from Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) in April 2021, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals in August 2019, MTA Cloud Fundamentals in October 2018, MTA Mobility and Device Fundamentals in August 2018, MTA Networking Fundamentals in July 2018, IT Essentials 5.0 from Cisco in June 2016, and RITTech from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in May 2019.
