Al Calixte

Al is the associate director, CMC project management at Verve. He has over 10 years of industry experience, predominantly in alliance, project, and program management. Prior to joining Verve, Al worked at Ensoma, where he managed the complex web of contract vendors that were used to produce vectors and drug products for non-clinical and clinical programs. Al has also worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in the Vaccines Business Unit, as the lead of manufacturing and supply chain strategy. In this role, he oversaw the external clinical and commercial supply of diluents used to produce final vaccines. He stepped in and led technical efforts as needed, such as writing manufacturing and validation secretions for the Dengue NDA submission. Al has previously worked at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Siemens Healthcare. Al received his Bachelor of Science in biology from UMass Boston and his Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
