Brittney Pierson

Brittney is a scientist II, biophysical characterization at Verve Therapeutics. She received her degree from the University of Washington and worked at various companies, on the west coast ,focusing on analytical development for small molecules and then phage. Brittney spent the last several years, in the gene editing space, first at CRISPR Therapeutics and then at Vor Biopharma. In both roles, her focus was on developing novel assays to characterize the editing reagents and delivery modalities with a focus on characterizing gRNA, Cas9, and RNP.
