James Madsen

James Madsen is director, mass spectrometry, and brings over ten years of pharma/biotech experience to Verve having worked in both drug discovery and development environments as well as with multiple drug modalities. Prior to Verve, he built a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry facility and multidisciplinary proteomics team at FogPharma, applied novel mass spectrometry technologies to biologics development at Momenta, and executed method validations at Baxter. Dr. Madsen received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He has over 25 publications and patents related to biological mass spectrometry.
