Chad Willaert has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Chad began their career at Taylor Corporation in 1991 as a Systems Administrator. Chad then worked at various companies, including River Bend Business Products, Benchmark Computer Learning, and GE Capital ITS, where they held roles as a System Engineer and Instructor/Network Administrator.

In 2000, Chad joined Bluestem Systems as an Enterprise Network Systems Architect and later moved to TIES as a Senior Systems Engineer. At TIES, they worked on projects for State Colleges and Universities, focusing on Identity Management and Web Services.

Chad further expanded their expertise in identity and security roles at Solbrekk, Ncell Systems, and Revelation Network Management, Inc. These positions involved architecting and implementing Identity and Access Management Solutions, network operation systems configurations, upgrades, and migrations.

In 2017, Chad joined Vervint as a Principal Strategist, where they analyzed market trends, enhanced competitive advantage, and collaborated with various teams to execute go-to-market strategies. Chad also played roles as a Principal Architect and Practice Lead in cloud, identity, and modern workplace technologies.

Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful solution implementation.

Chad Willaert attended Mankato East High School from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. After high school, they enrolled at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Computer Science and Marketing. In terms of additional certifications, Chad obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in November 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2019, Project+ from CompTIA in 2004, Certified Directory Engineer from Novell in 2000, IBM Certified Solutions Expert from IBM in 1999, Principal Certified Lotus Professional from IBM in 1999, Certified Lotus Professional from IBM in 1998, Master Certified Novell Engineer from Novell in 1998, A+ from CompTIA in 1996, Certified Novell Engineer from Novell in 1996, and most recently, the Identity Manager Administrator Certified Expert from Micro Focus in March 2021.
