Stan Abada

Stan Abada has extensive work experience in technical program management and engineering roles.

Stan is currently working as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Very, a fully-distributed IoT engineering firm. In this role, they collaborate with teams and clients to develop IoT, mobile, and full-stack products. Stan manages budgets, expectations, and ensures customer satisfaction by using Agile methodology.

Prior to this, Stan worked at Google as a System Engineering Program Manager at Google Nest. Stan held this position from July 2021 to January 2023.

From September 2014 to July 2021, Stan worked at Carrier Corporation as a Technical Program Manager/Hardware Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire alarm detectors and devices. Stan also presented project stage gates to top-level management and managed project schedules and product certifications.

Before joining Carrier Corporation, Stan worked at CAE Healthcare as an Electrical Engineer 2 from April 2013 to July 2014.

Stan also gained experience as a Software Developer (LabVIEW Developer) at Innovative Technology By Design, Inc from November 2011 to July 2013.

Additionally, Stan worked at Consert, Inc as a Test and Quality Engineer from July 2012 to January 2013.

Stan started their career at Rockwell Collins, where they served as a Quality Assurance Engineer from December 2011 to July 2012. Stan also worked as a Test Engineer (Electrical) from January 2011 to July 2012 at the same company.
