Rakshita Charan

Rakshita Charan has over 18 years of work experience in the field of research. Rakshita started their career in 2003 as a Junior Research Fellow at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. In 2006, they moved to the University of Pittsburgh as a Graduate Researcher. In 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Research Scientist at Biogen. In 2021, they joined Flagship Labs 81 Inc. as a Senior Scientist. Currently, Rakshita is employed as a Senior Scientist at Vesalius Therapeutics.

Rakshita Charan received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science (MS) in Biology from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in 2006.
