Erin Baker (Wiedower)

Erin (Wiedower) Baker has a diverse work experience in the energy and environmental sectors. Erin started their career as an Ecologist at Perennial Environmental Services, LLC in 2008 and then moved on to Akuo Energy, where they worked as a Project Development Manager from 2011 to 2013. At Akuo Energy, they managed various aspects of renewable energy project development and ensured environmental compliance.

In 2014, Erin joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Senior Natural Resources Project Manager, specializing in renewable energy. In this role, they were responsible for managing renewable energy projects, client relations, and business development throughout the US. Erin also prepared reports and documentation related to environmental planning and permitting.

From 2014 to 2016, Erin worked at Goldwind Americas as a Senior Development Manager. Erin'sresponsibilities included sales and strategic project investment efforts, coordination of tasks, due diligence, negotiations for partnerships and acquisitions, and developing market-specific commercial strategies.

In 2016, Erin joined Apex Clean Energy as a Senior Development Manager and eventually became the Director of Development at Vesper Energy in 2021. At Apex Clean Energy, they managed wind and solar development assets in Illinois and Indiana, overseeing project management responsibilities for 1.1 GW of projects.

Throughout their career, Erin has demonstrated expertise in renewable energy, project development, environmental compliance, and team management.

Erin (Wiedower) Baker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University, which they pursued from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, Erin pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Ecosystem Science and Management from Texas A&M University from 2006 to 2008.
