Tom Nebel

Chief Financial Officer at Vesta

Tom Nebel is the current Chief Financial Officer at Vesta. Prior to this, they worked as a U.S. GAAP accountant at Central European Media Enterprises from April 2005 to March 2006. There, they were responsible for assisting in the completion of required Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), with responsibilities including a detailed assessment of financial submissions from operating segments, the calculation of earnings per share, the preparation of the cash flow statement and a review of 10-Q and 10-K document drafts. Tom also coordinated and managed the planning, writing and implementation of a comprehensive accounting policy manual, ensuring that proposed policies were consistent with U.S. GAAP.

Tom Nebel also assisted in the integration of an acquisition during their time at Central European Media Enterprises, which doubled the size of CME. Tom focused on finalizing the valuation of identifiable assets and liabilities as well as developing appropriate purchase accounting adjustments. In addition, they developed and applied a consistent valuation model for evaluating asset impairment at each of the Company’s operating segments.

At Central European Media Enterprises, Tom Nebel also reviewed month-end accounts for all corporate companies, prepared and distributed a weekly corporate cash flow forecast to managers in the Finance department, and acted as a contact for accounting and U.S. GAAP questions raised by operating segments and London staff.

Tom Nebel received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Gonzaga University in the field of Accounting. Tom is also certified from the Washington Society of CPAs as a Certified Public Accountant.

They are on a team with Rodrigo Naranjo - Chief Growth Officer, Shabab Muhaddes - General Manager, Asia Pacific, and Jonathan Le - Chief Risk and Data Officer. Tom Nebel reports to Ron Hynes, CEO.
