Mahanand R. has extensive experience in database management, currently serving as the Manager of Database Architecture at Vestcom since December 2013. Mahanand has successfully virtualized and scaled critical database servers, migrating over 500 databases totaling more than 25 Terabytes, enhancing performance, reliability, and high availability. Significant cost savings were achieved by reducing licensing expenses by over $300,000 through the consolidation of database workloads. Previously, Mahanand held leadership roles within PASS, the Community for Data Professionals, and contributed as a Software Engineer and Database Administrator at Cerner Corporation. Mahanand also has experience as a Web Application Programmer at Western Illinois University and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
