Stephen Okeyo

Stephen Okeyo is a skilled research professional with a comprehensive background in bioinformatics and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Vestergaard since June 2023, Okeyo previously held the position of Graduate Research Fellow at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) from May 2022 to April 2023. Okeyo's experience includes an internship as an IR Mapper at Vestergaard and a role as a Molecular Biology Consultant at Abt Associates. Additionally, Okeyo worked as a Graduate Trainee at KEMRI and volunteered as a Research Intern at the Institute of Primate Research. Okeyo holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Nairobi, completed in September 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, earned in 2018.
