April Mellas

April Mellas has extensive work experience in various industries. April is currently working at Vestwell as the VP of Sales and Strategy since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Internal Sales at Vestwell from January 2021 to January 2023. In 2015, they co-founded and became the COO of RIGit (RIGit.co). From June 2018 to September 2019, April worked as the Director of Fundraising and Business Development at the Jewish Community Project of Lower Manhattan Inc. April also worked at Bender Cantone as a Special Projects Associate from January 2015 to January 2016. At Congregation Beth Elohim, they held multiple roles including Director from October 2013 to October 2015, Manager of Special Projects from October 2011 to November 2013, and Fundraising and Business Development Associate from July 2010 to October 2011.

April Mellas attended Rutgers University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender Studies, Political Science, with a minor in Sociology in 2008. April also studied Gender Studies, Political Science, and Sociology at Chapman University.
