Mary Rubenis

Mary Rubenis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mary is currently working at Vestwell as the VP of Engagement. In this role, they are responsible for distributing relevant client context across the company and conducting regular business reviews to enable a better understanding of client goals. Prior to Vestwell, Mary worked at the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority as the Associate Director of Attainable Outreach & Education. Here, they managed educational outreach and strategic partnership building for the Massachusetts ABLE Savings Plan, facilitated webinars and training for professional staff and families, and acted as a subject matter expert for local/state organizations and employers. Mary also has experience as a business co-owner at KO Catering and Pies, where they enhanced customer experience, managed social media strategy, and helped grow the business from startup to two locations. Mary has additionally worked as a Media Strategies Consultant at Neighbor Corp, where they directed public relations efforts for a natural foods beverage company. Mary's early work experience includes a role as a Public Affairs Associate at Lahey Clinic, where they crafted organizational collateral and implemented PR strategies for media exposure.

Mary Rubenis attended Emerson College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies. Prior to attending Emerson College, they also attended Boston Latin Academy.
