Daniele Fonseca de Lima has extensive work experience in the refractory industry. Daniele started their career as an intern at Magnesita in 2004 and later became a trainee research engineer at the company's R&D center. Daniele then worked as a research engineer and was responsible for sliding gate plates and recycling refractory materials.

In 2010, Daniele joined Magnesita Refractories as an R&D coordinator, where they developed technical roadmaps for South American spent refractory recycling. Daniele also managed operations and budgets to increase consumption of spent refractory and handled customer presentations and commercial contracts. Later, they became an operation coordinator, focusing on spent refractory recycling and sustainability projects.

From 2015 to 2021, Daniele worked at ArcelorMittal Brasil as a refractory specialist. Their responsibilities included developing the refractories roadmap and being the representative at ArcelorMittal's global refractory forum. Daniele also managed strategic projects related to acquisition evaluation, supplier development, cost reduction, safety, and quality improvement.

Currently, Daniele is the Marketing and Technology Director of Advanced Refractory South America at Vesuvius, where they oversee marketing and technology initiatives in the region.

Daniele Fonseca de Lima has a diverse education history. Daniele completed a postgraduate degree in Metalurgical Engineering with an emphasis on Steelmaking at Ifes - Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma from SETA Desenvolvimento Gerencial in 2018-2019 and a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma from the same institution in 2017. In 2012-2013, they pursued an Executive MBA at Fundação Dom Cabral. Their undergraduate education was at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from 1999 to 2004.
