Craig Jaques has a wealth of experience in the fields of business development, strategic initiatives, and global public health. Craig began their career in 2005 as an intern at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Following this, they worked as an Intern and Program Manager for Project HOPE from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they designed, planned, and managed components of Project HOPE's shipboard humanitarian assistance operations, recruited and managed volunteer healthcare professionals, and conducted research and developed equipment lists for Project HOPE's clinical and programmatic support.

In 2009, Craig Jaques joined Aspen Medical as the Director of Global Health and Assistant Vice President of Operations and Business Development for the U.S. Subsidiary. Craig also served as a Sr. Health Security Analyst for the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance. In this role, they provided leadership and management to a health security program team, conducted global public health and disaster management training, and led a consultation group of 12 civil-military coordination experts.

From 2015 to 2020, Craig Jaques worked as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development at Valiant Integrated Services. During this time, they expanded into high-end science, technology, and innovation opportunities, and served as an advisor for the Australia-headquartered team for humanitarian and global health related projects and opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Most recently, Craig Jaques has been the Director of Business Development at CTI since 2020. In this role, they have developed and directed business development strategy, capture activities, bid and proposal management, customer relationship management, and marketing and communications teams.

Currently, Craig Jaques is the General Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Veteran Ventures Capital. In this role, they are seeking out and investing in companies anchored by the most resourceful, determined, and experienced entrepreneurs\u2013 veterans.

Craig Jaques obtained their High School Diploma from Wilton High School in 2001. Craig then attended the University of Delaware from 2002 to 2006, earning a degree in Sociology with a focus on Disaster Management, Health Services, and Chinese Film. In 2009, they obtained a Public Health degree from The Johns Hopkins University. Since then, Craig has obtained various certifications, including a Preventing the Zika Virus: Understanding and Controlling the Aedes Mosquito certification from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London in 2017, an Urban Humanitarian Emergencies Course certification from Harvard University in 2015, a Supporting Humanitarian Action in Emergencies and Disasters (SHARED) Course certification from United Nations OCHA in 2015, a Certificate of Professional Development: GoFarm Hawai'i AgPro Program certification from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2014, a Presenting Data and Information Course by Edward Tufte certification from Edward Tufte in 2012, and a Health Emergencies in Large Populations Course certification from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2010.
