The primary veterinarian is requested to alert VERG that an emergency case is being sent to our hospital from their office if possible. Should your hospital or clinic be closed during certain hours or on certain holidays, VERG will accept your pets if your primary veterinarian is unavailable. Patients referred for emergency treatment or care willbe referred back to their primary veterinarian for continued care, upon the completion of treatment at VERG.

The Veterinary Staff at Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group (VERG) comprises a diverse and specialized team dedicated to providing emergency care and specialized treatments for pets. This team includes certified and licensed veterinary technicians, veterinarians, veterinary surgeons, neurologists, criticalists, and anesthesiologists, among others, who work collaboratively to manage urgent cases and complex medical conditions. They ensure pets receive immediate and expert care and coordinate with primary veterinarians to facilitate continuity of care once the emergency treatment is completed.
