Wendy Layton

Wendy Layton is an experienced professional with a strong background in supporting military families and veterans. Serving as Chapter Director for Blue Star Families since February 2019, Wendy also holds the position of National Guard Employment Network (NGEN) Outreach Specialist at Corporate America Supports You (CASY) since February 2018. Previous experience includes serving as Program Coordinator for Onward to Opportunity at Syracuse University, providing career training and counseling to transitioning veterans and spouses, and as Air Wing Integrator at IIF Data Solutions, coordinating Yellow Ribbon events for Air Guardsmen. Wendy's early career included a role as Center Director at USO. Academically, Wendy earned a Master of Public Administration from Barry University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Barry University, along with other educational credentials from Florida State College at Jacksonville, Rio Salado Community College, and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
