Jeffrey Brennan

Jeffrey Brennan is the current General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Vettd.ai. Jeffrey has been with the company since April 2016 and in their current position since March 2022.

Prior to joining Vettd, Brennan was with Finsphere Corporation from January 2009 to April 2016, where they served as Chief Privacy Officer and General Counsel. In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic guidance on compliance with state, federal, and international laws, as well as overseeing the company's intellectual property portfolio.

During their time at Finsphere, Brennan established a privacy infrastructure and advised senior executives on all privacy/data protection matters. Jeffrey also worked to ensure compliance with U.S. and European privacy regulations, determined personal data consent requirements, and developed terms, conditions, and privacy policy for new consumer-based Web service. In addition, Brennan led public relations and marketing efforts in the U.S. and EMEA, coordinating PR and social media strategies and managing outside media firms.

Brennan has a long history of working in the legal and compliance field, with a focus on privacy and data protection. Jeffrey is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has participated in forums and congresses both in the U.S. and Europe. Jeffrey is also a key contact for the Department of Commerce's U.S.-E.U. Safe Harbor Framework and has represented Finsphere in meetings with privacy officials in the

Jeffrey Brennan has a JD from Seattle University School of Law, an MBA in Management from Angelo State University, and a BBA in Management from Angelo State University. Jeffrey also has certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
