Ian Lai

Ian Lai is a Research Scientist specializing in Cancer Biology at Vevo Therapeutics since June 2023, where collaboration with cross-functional teams and management of preclinical studies are key responsibilities. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Animal Science at D2G Oncology, leading reverse translation studies and developing proprietary software to enhance vivarium efficiency. At Stanford University School of Medicine, Ian held roles as a Basic Life Research Scientist and a Life Science Research Professional, where leadership in translational projects and expertise in immuno-oncology research were prominent. Ian began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Iowa, following the attainment of a Ph.D. in Human Toxicology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from UC Irvine.
