Darleen Elder

Darleen (Dewey) Elder is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Program Analyst at Virginia Housing since August 2022, Darleen previously held a significant role as VP/Software Engineer III for the Default Management Platform at Truist from February 2021 until retirement in August 2022. Prior to that, Darleen spent over two decades at SunTrust in various capacities, including VP/Configurations Analyst and AVP/Lead Business Analyst, focusing on Default Management and Consumer Lending. Darleen holds an Associate’s Degree in Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate from Erie Community College, earned between 1985 and 1987.
