Rob van Kempen

Rob van Kempen is an experienced software and hardware engineer currently working at VHE Industrial Automation B.V. since February 2021, focusing on developing a compact automated system for cable winding with precise measurements. Prior experience includes a role as an intern at BERCO CAR CARPETS BV & BERCO TRUCK COMPONENTS BV, where a proof of concept vision system was established for automatic identification and verification of automotive mats. Additional internships involved machine operation, systems assembly, and maintenance across various companies including Bavaria N.V., AFA Dispensing, and RESER Europe B.V. Rob van Kempen holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Industrial Automation from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, complemented by earlier education focused on engineering and vocational training.
