Ikrame Aknouch

Ikrame Aknouch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and consultancy within the biomedical field. Currently serving as the Founder of ZIA Consultancy and a coach since 2024, Ikrame also holds the position of Scientist in Research & Development at Cerba Research. As a role model at VHTO since June 2013, contributions have been made towards inspiring and guiding women in science and technology. Previous roles include providing preclinical services at Viroclinics-DDL and completing a PhD at AMC in collaboration with Viroclinics Biosciences B.V. Between 2008 and 2013, various internships were completed at Leiden University Medical Center and the Leiden/Amsterdam Center for Drug Research, focusing on pharmacology, psychiatry, and genetics. Ikrame holds an MSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam.
