Jorge Perez de Zabalza

Marketing and Tourism Director Spain at VIA Outlets

Jorge Perez de Zabalza has a strong background in marketing and management, with experience in various companies and industries. Jorge began their career at Dell, where they served as a Web Master and later became an Assistant Marketing Manager and then the Direct Marketing Manager for the southern Europe region. In this role, they were responsible for planning, managing, and controlling the marketing plan and overseeing a budget of over 2 million euros.

Following their time at Dell, Jorge joined Panda Software as the Emailing and Database Manager. In this one-year project, they coordinated and controlled massive e-mailing campaigns across 53 countries, resulting in a direct benefit of more than 12,000,000 euros per year.

In 2007, Jorge joined NEINVER as a Marketing Specialist. Jorge was responsible for defining, executing, and monitoring the marketing plan for Outlet centers in the Iberian region. Jorge also played a key role in the launch of ALEGRA Park. Over the years, Jorge took on several roles at NEINVER, including Corporate Marketing Manager, where they coordinated marketing activities for all Outlet centers in the group and developed corporate tools to support center needs, and Marketing Director, where they focused on the long-term marketing strategy and led a team of 30 people across six countries. Jorge successfully launched the omni-channel strategy for the company and implemented various digital and business intelligence tools.

Most recently, Jorge joined VIA OUTLETS as the Marketing and Tourism Director for Spain. This role demonstrates their expertise in developing marketing strategies and enhancing tourism initiatives within the retail industry.

Throughout their career, Jorge has showcased their ability to manage teams, develop and implement strategies, and drive business growth through effective marketing tactics.

Jorge Perez de Zabalza pursued their education with a focus on international commerce and business administration. In 1989-1990, they attended Osseo Senior High, completing their senior year. Following this, from 1994 to 2000, they studied at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, earning a Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management). Jorge furthered their studies from 2001 to 2002 at IAE Montpellier, where they obtained a Degree in International Commerce.
