Matt Worona

Matt Worona has a diverse work experience in the transportation and government sectors. Matt currently holds the position of Business Partner Principal at Via, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Government Partnerships, Canada at Spin from August to October 2022. Before that, they worked at the City of Kelowna, starting as an Active Transportation Planner from June 2017 to January 2020, and then transitioning to the role of New Mobility Specialist from January 2020 to August 2022. Additionally, Matt worked at the City of Toronto as a Transportation Demand Management Planner from July 2015 to August 2016, and as a Community Facilitator from November 2014 to July 2015. Overall, they have gained expertise in various roles related to mobility planning, active transportation, and government partnerships.

Matt Worona has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Marketing Management from Dalhousie University. Matt also holds an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a French Immersion Certificate from Bishop Allen Academy in Toronto, Ontario.
