Akash Saxena is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as Chief Technical & Product Officer at Viacom18 Media Private Limited since May 2023, Akash is focused on creating India's largest engagement platform. Previously, as Executive Vice President and CTO at Disney+ Hotstar, Akash built a top-tier tech team, scaled the platform for global content delivery, and was pivotal in the launch of Disney+ in various regions. Other notable roles include Head of Technology at Craftsvilla and TinyOwl, as well as Director of Engineering at OpenTable, where Akash contributed to significant technological advancements and operational scalability. Akash co-founded Youpid.in and began a robust career as a software engineer, earning a Master's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
