Barret Pearson

Barret Pearson is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in restaurant management and sommelier roles. Currently serving as General Manager at Viaggio Hospitality Group since August 2023, Barret oversees the daily operations of a busy restaurant in Vancouver's West End, managing a team of approximately 20 employees. Prior experience includes General Manager at Tutto Restaurant and Bar, where Barret managed a 120-seat restaurant with annual sales of around $5 million and built a team of up to 50 industry professionals. Barret previously held positions as Sommelier and Assistant General Manager at Viaggio Hospitality Group, as well as roles at high-end establishments like Le Crocodile and Wildebeest Restaurant. Barret's educational background includes a WSET Level 3 certification and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University.
