Wendy Pinson

Wendy Pinson has over a decade of experience in clinical research. Wendy started their career at Sarah Cannon Research Institute in 2009 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they demonstrated excellent patient management skills and proficiency in data entry. In 2012, Wendy joined The Jackson Clinic as a Clinical Research Coordinator and later became a Program Development Specialist. During their time at The Jackson Clinic, they managed study pipelines for clinical investigators, obtained new study opportunities, and performed study start-up activities across various therapeutic areas. In 2020, Wendy joined Precision For Medicine as a Clinical Project Specialist and eventually took on roles as a Manager of Clinical Operations and an Associate Director of Clinical Operations. At Precision For Medicine, they excelled at implementing studies within timelines and budgets. Recently, in 2022, Wendy joined Vial as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. Overall, they have a strong background in clinical research and a comprehensive understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulations.

Wendy Pinson, LPN, CCRP completed their education at the Tennessee Technology Center at Jackson from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained their degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a focus on nursing. In addition to their LPN degree, they hold several additional certifications. These include the Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA), which they obtained in December 2011. Wendy also holds certifications in Information Privacy and Security (IPS), Project Management (CRO), GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Biologics (ICH Focus), and Responsible Conduct of Research: CRO. These certifications were obtained in September 2022 through the CITI Program. Furthermore, Wendy Pinson's LPN certification was obtained from the Tennessee Board of Nursing in November 2002.
