Fred Wachs

Fred Wachs has over three decades of experience in the IT and engineering sectors. Currently serving as IT Support at Viamedia since January 2010, Fred previously held the role of IT Specialist at Bluegrass Family Health from October 2004 to November 2009. Earlier in their career, Fred was Vice President of Operations at Advanced Cooling Technology, Inc. from June 1985 to April 1988, where the development and patenting of a sub-cooling device to enhance the efficiency of DX Cooling equipment took place. As VP and co-founder of Key Energy Group, Inc. from 1982 to 1985, Fred worked as a Project Engineer on energy management initiatives in educational and healthcare facilities. Educationally, Fred earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with prior studies at the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University, along with completing high school at Tates Creek High School.
