Sajid S.

Sajid S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sajid began their career in 1996 as the proprietor of ssdesigninteractive, a partnership firm providing design services for architecture and furniture design. In 2003, they joined Convergys Learning Services as a Sr. UX Designer, eventually becoming the lead designer and working with clients such as HP, Microsoft, and Cisco. In 2005, Sajid joined Philips Design as a Senior UX Lead Designer, responsible for defining user experiences for consumer electronics products. Sajid also managed the Philips Design studio in Bangalore as a Manager of Interactive Design. In 2012, Sajid transitioned to TP Vision, a joint venture formed by Philips, as a Senior UX Lead Designer before joining SAP as the Director of UX in the same year. At SAP, they managed and led UX professionals, focused on generating useful insights from complex information through extensive user research. Sajid then moved to Google in 2018, serving as the UX Design Manager for Google Ads and later for Google Cloud and Google Ads. In 2023, they became a Member of the Design Leadership Forum and a UX Design Mentor at Designed.org. Additionally, they assumed the role of Head of Design at Vianai Systems, Inc.

Sajid S. has a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University. Sajid also has a Research Fellowship in New Media from the National Institute of Design. Sajid holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Institute of Environmental Design. Sajid completed their HSC from Kendriya Vidyalaya with a field of study in CBSE. In addition, Sajid has certifications in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Human-Computer Interaction from Stanford University.
