Joakim Friberg

Joakim Friberg has a diverse work experience in the media and consulting industries. Joakim began their career as an Associate at Arkwright Consulting in August 2013 and stayed in that role until February 2016. Joakim then joined Modern Times Group MTG AB, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Group Strategy and M&A from February 2016 to April 2018, before being promoted to Manager in the same department until October 2018. Since October 2018, they have been working at Viaplay Group, initially as Head of CX & Strategy, Viaplay, until June 2020, before moving on to become VP SVOD D2C until June 2023. Currently, they hold the position of VP Viaplay Commercial at Viaplay Group.

Joakim Friberg completed their M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in the years 2008-2013. Joakim also had the opportunity to study as a visiting student at ETH Zürich from 2011-2012, focusing on the field of study MTEC.
