Clay Talton

Clay Talton, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience ranging from administrative roles to human resources positions. Clay currently serves as the Human Resources Director at ViaPlus, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Clay was the Human Resources Manager at LBJ Infrastructure Group LLC from July 2020 to May 2023 and the Senior Human Resources Generalist from June 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining LBJ Infrastructure Group LLC, Clay worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Europa Sports Products from September 2016 to June 2019. In this role, they provided remote support to the HR Director and corporate HR Team based in Charlotte, NC, while maintaining an onsite HR presence for the distribution center in Mesquite, TX. Clay's previous experience includes serving as a Human Resources Assistant at Pioneer Sand Company from October 2015 to May 2016, a Personnel Supervisor at Remedy Intelligent Staffing from July 2014 to September 2015, and a Recruiter at Xerox from August 2012 to June 2014.

Furthermore, Clay has experience in the educational and financial sectors. Clay worked as an HR Coordinator at Play and Grow Day Care from August 2008 to August 2012, where they performed human resources duties for a new day care company that primarily assisted children with disabilities. Clay also has experience as an Administrative Assistant at Fidelity Home Mortgage Corp. from May 2007 to July 2008.

Throughout their career, Clay has gained valuable skills in recruiting, HR support, personnel management, and administrative tasks. Clay'sextensive work experience and expertise make him a competent HR professional.

Clay Talton, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which they obtained from Argosy University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the same institution from 2010 to 2014. Currently, Clay is pursuing their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University starting from 2019. In addition to their academic achievements, Clay has obtained several certifications including "Advanced Business Development: Communication and Negotiation," "Building Trust," "Communicating Across Cultures," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," "Negotiation Skills," and "Process Improvement Foundations" from LinkedIn in December 2020. Furthermore, in June 2017, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
