Pengcheng Yu

Pengcheng Yu is a highly experienced Senior Application Engineer at VIAVI Solutions since August 2017, specializing in application development for MicroNIR products across various industries, including pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals. Prior to this role, Pengcheng served in multiple technical capacities at ABB from 2000 to 2016, focusing on FTIR/NIR calibration and technical sales support in Asia, alongside application troubleshooting and customer training. Earlier career experience includes positions as Applications Chemist at Siemens and Technical Assistant at Singapore Refining Company. Pengcheng holds a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Analytical Chemistry from Zhejiang University of Technology.
