Tim Elliott has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Tim began their career at Westpac as a Portfolio Accountant before moving on to Bankers Trust Australia as a Trust Accountant. Tim then joined ANZ as a Senior Trust Accountant and later worked at Commonwealth Bank as the Head of Strategic Development International. Tim then joined Macquarie Bank as the Division Director - Deputy CFO for the Financial Services Group. Tim subsequently worked at Standard Chartered Bank as the Global Head of Product Control Private Equity and Corporate Finance. Tim's experience also includes working as the CFO and Company Secretary at CP2 and as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at StatePlus. Currently, they are at Aware Super, where they hold the position of Group Executive Finance, Strategy and Transformation and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing various teams and serving as the Chair Valuation Committee.

Tim Elliott's education history is as follows:

In 1992, they began studying Business with a concentration in Accounting and Finance at the University of Technology Sydney. Tim completed their degree in 1996.

From 1996 to 1999, Tim pursued further education at the Australian Society of CPA's, where they obtained their certification as a Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA).

Tim then decided to continue their education and enrolled in the AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2002 for an MBA program. Tim successfully completed their Master of Business Administration in 2004.

In 2021, Tim attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they completed the GAICD program.

In 2023, Tim participated in the Executing Strategy for Results program at the London Business School.

Additionally, in July 2023, they obtained a certification, the Executing Strategy For Results Programme, from the London Business School.
