Victory College Prep
Courtney Simons is an experienced educator and volleyball coach, currently serving as a Math Teacher at Victory College Prep since July 2020 and as an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School since January 2020. Previous positions include teaching at Emma Donnan Elementary School from July 2019 to June 2020 and assisting in coaching at Borderline Volleyball Club from February to May 2019, where training focused on enhancing the skills of 16-year-old female athletes. Courtney's coaching experience also includes three years as a Student Assistant at Miami University Volleyball Camps, where coaching involved young children and high school teams. Courtney holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University Indianapolis (2019-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami University (2015-2019), along with a high school education from Brebeuf Jesuit (2012-2015).

Victory College Prep
Victory College Prep (VCP) opened in August 2005 on the Southeast side of Indianapolis with the goals of serving all students in the city. VCP is a public, K-12 charter school and serves approximately 900 students. The mission of Victory College Prep is to prepare students with the academic and social-emotional skills necessary to success in college, career, and life. We use a restorative approach to discipline and develop the whole child in our school. We leverage relationships and social skill development to ensure that all students graduate prepared to solve problems, work collaboratively, and persevere in the world. All students in grades 7-12 participate in a daily advisory program for 50 minutes. Staff advisors remain with their students throughout their entire high school career and focus on developing social-emotional skills, academic development, and college-and-career advising.
