Rob Roscow

Genetics Advisor at Victory Hemp Foods

Rob is a dedicated biologist and inventor who values applying his creative skills in the improvement of commodity production systems. Rob is a double dropout; first leaving high school after only two years to attend Clarkson University, and subsequently leaving an almost finished PhD program in evolutionary developmental genetics to move into the agricultural, cannabis and bio-tech start-up space. At Ebbu, Rob conceived of and developed a patent portfolio centered on enabling enhanced production of Cannabis resin and individual cannabinoids. This work was featured in Rolling Stone, Nature and The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). Rob and his inventions were instrumental in the sale of Ebbu to Canopy Growth Corporation for above C$400,000,000, during the Fall of 2018. Now at Victory Hemp Foods, Rob dedicates his time to the improvement of hemp as a grain producing commodity crop. Additionally, Rob has been heavily involved in hemp regulatory efforts, both as a behind the scenes expert adviser to lobbyists and as a member of the C.H.A.M.P commission in Colorado, where he represented industry interests.
