Cara Shumaker

Cara Shumaker joined VPC in 2022 and is a Fund Accountant. She assists with accounting, finance, tax, audit, reporting and treasury related activities for various VPC funds.

Previously, Ms. Shumaker was an audit & assurance senior for Deloitte & Touche, LLP. She has experience in the investment management industry, including mutual funds, ETFs, and family offices.

Ms. Shumaker received a B.B.A in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (active).
