Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Andy started their career at ICI Advanced Materials in 1994 as a Chemical Engineer. Andy then moved to Victrex in 1995, where they served as a Chemical Engineer, Engineering Manager, and eventually as a Project Manager until 2009. From 2009, they joined Invibio as an Engineering Manager and later became the Head of Technology until 2016. Andy then returned to Victrex in 2016 and held the roles of Head of Business Project Management and currently serves as the Head of R&D since February 2018.

Andy Anderson received their primary education from Arnold School Blackpool from 1984 to 1991. After completing high school, they attended the University of Nottingham from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BEng Hons) in Chemical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Andy also obtained certifications including being a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in October 2014 and completing 50 hours of engagement as a STEM Ambassador in the 2021/2022 academic year, through STEM Learning.
