Director Of Risk, Compliance And Sustainability at Victrex

James Whieldon started their work experience in 2000 as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at Northern Foods. James then progressed to become an Environment and Sustainability Specialist, where they established environmental management systems and managed projects. In 2005, they became the Health Safety and Environment Manager at Northern Foods, responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental agendas.

In 2007, James Whieldon joined Molson Coors Brewing as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager. James held this role until 2010.

From 2010 to 2014, James Whieldon worked at PepsiCo, first as the Health, Safety and Environment Manager for two manufacturing sites and a starch plant. James then became the Global EHS Lead for AMEA and Europe, supporting the development plans and leading global H&S projects.

Since 2015, James Whieldon has been working at Victrex. James started as the Global Head of Safety, Health and Environment, where they defined and implemented the company's strategy for SHE Management. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Risk, Compliance and Sustainability, responsible for implementing an organization-wide strategy to minimize risks and managing relationships with insurance providers.

James Whieldon attended Nottingham Trent University from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. James furthered their education at the same university from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management.
