Sunil Ghai

Sunil Ghai is an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in product and research roles. In 2019, they began working as SVP, Product - VIDA Verify at VIDA Digital Identity, as well as serving as Vice President Product Innovation. Sunil also worked as an Independent Consultant for Energy Systems/Product, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at DataGlen Technologies, Research Engineer at IBM Research India, Intern at Google Summer of Code 2010, Research Intern at Technische Universität München, and Student Developer at Google Summer of Code 2008. At IBM Research India, they managed the product life cycle of a new enterprise offering from design to deployment to reduce energy demand in commercial buildings by 15%. At Technische Universität München, they introduced an XACML based authorization framework in the DPWS stack and designed a two-step protocol for non-expert users to securely implement a X.509 certificate based authentication system in home networks. At Google Summer of Code 2008, they integrated Microsoft's LLMNR protocol in the Avahi project, an open source implementation of the ZeroConf stack.

Sunil Ghai completed a Stanford Ignite program at Stanford University in 2016, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Sunil also earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Delhi College of Engineering between 2006 and 2010.
