John L. (Seungho)

John (Seungho) L. is currently a Fellow at Vida Ventures, LLC and a Graduate Student in the Biomedical Engineering department at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where John is pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics. Previous experience includes roles in strategy and forecasting as well as business development at Horizon, and as an Investment Banking Analyst with the Healthcare Group at Cowen and Company. Earlier positions featured a summer analyst role at Cowen and Company, a summer analyst position at Changemaker Capital Partners, and a research internship at Children's National Medical Center focused on gene regulation in Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University and education at both the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
