Hannah Parel

Hannah Parel serves as the University of Guelph Chapter President and Co-founder for The Canadian Courage Project since September 2022 and is a 3rd Year Representative for Vida Volunteer. Prior experience includes working as a Personal Care Aid specializing in Advanced Dementia Care at Schlegel Villages from June 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities involved promoting resident-centred care and advocating for individual participation in care decisions. Additional roles include Research and Innovation Support with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs, an Apparel Clerk at Joe Fresh, a Hostess at Angel’s Diner, and an Administrative Assistant at Brisson Leis & Associates. Hannah's career began as a Kumon Assistant & Grader with Kumon North America, Inc. and is currently pursuing studies at the University of Guelph from 2020 to 2024.
