Margaret Cranston

Margaret Cranston is the Vice President of Sales & Commercial Operations at VIDA. Margaret has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including strategic business planning, business consulting, and sales.

Ms. Cranston began their career in 1989 as a Technical Representative at Shiley, Inc., where they provided support to customers using Shiley products. In 1993, they joined Mallinkrodt Medical as a Strategic Business Executive. At Mallinkrodt, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical programs.

In 2003, Ms. Cranston founded CBCI - Cranston Business Consulting Inc., a business consulting firm with a focus on the healthcare and biotechnology industries. As President of CBCI, they provided outsourced services to their clients, including strategic planning, marketing, and business development.

In 2010, Ms. Cranston joined Aerocrine as Director of Global Business Planning. Aerocrine is a biotechnology company that develops products for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. In their role at Aerocrine, Ms. Cranston was responsible for providing global strategic business planning reports to the executive leadership team.

Ms. Cranston has been with VIDA since 2014, where they currently serve as Vice President of Sales & Commercial Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading the sales and commercial operations team and developingVIDA's sales strategy.

Margaret Cranston has a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies from California State University in Long Beach.

Margaret Cranston reports to Susan A. Wood, CEO & President. They are on a team with John Newell Jr - John Newell, Medical Director, Todd Johnson - CTO, and Marcel Nienhuis - Vice President of Marketing.
