Ramzi Nasr

Ramzi Nasr has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ramzi is currently the VP of Engineering at VideoAmp since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Manager - Data Platforms from September 2018 to November 2020. From October 2016 to September 2018, they co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer at Deton Corp. Before that, they had different roles at comScore, Inc. from August 2011 to September 2016, including Sr. Director - Stats Services. Ramzi also has a background in academia, having worked as a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine from August 2006 to July 2011, focusing on research in Chemoinformatics and Bioinformatics. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at Machine Vision Products from April 2005 to July 2006 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Conexant in 2003.

Ramzi Nasr earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California State University, Long Beach between 2000 and 2005. Ramzi then pursued further education at UC Irvine, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics at UC Irvine from 2006 to 2011. Prior to their higher education, Ramzi attended Saint Joseph School for their high school education.
