Michael Heavey has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Michael started their career as an intern at ESB, where they worked in the Procurement Change Project (PCP) team and later in the SAP Competency Centre (SCC) department. At ESB, they were responsible for tasks such as preparing and dispatching asset management spreadsheets, amending purchase orders, setting up and configuring a Microsoft Sharepoint site, and reviewing the status of SAP transactions.

Following their internships at ESB, Heavey worked as a cashier at Eurospar Dunboyne, where they served customers and gained experience with the SAMforWinTM Retail Management System. Michael also assisted with training new staff members.

Michael then transitioned to a sales role at Currys PC World featuring Carphone Warehouse, where they recommended and sold TV, Laptop, and Tablet bundles to customers. Michael achieved success by securing more than 40 Revenue Generating Units (RGUs) from Sky and Virgin Media connections within a span of two months. Michael also handled broadband package upgrades for customers through the ClearChoice portal and by phone.

After that, Heavey joined TLC Photography as a Senior Photo Editor. In this role, they served customers, handled cash and card payments, and imported and organized photos in Adobe Bridge.

Michael gained experience in a supervisory role as a Checkout Supervisor at SuperValu Dunboyne. Michael managed a team of seven cashiers, assisted with their tasks and issues, and ensured efficient management of self-checkouts and cashier checkouts. Additionally, they were responsible for the opening and closing procedures of the checkout area.

More recently, Heavey worked as a Video Production Intern at BBDO Dublin, where they edited digital videos, implemented client feedback, and participated in all stages of video production.

Currently, they hold the position of Content Operator at VideoElephant.

Michael Heavey attended Technological University Dublin from 2020 to 2023, where they pursued a degree in Creative Digital Media. Michael'sfield of study focused on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
