Malin Pihl

Malin Pihl has a diverse background with experience in various roles and companies. Malin is currently the Managing Director at Vidispine AB, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Customer Success at Vidispine and also served as a Test Lead.

Before joining Vidispine, Malin worked at Sylog Sverige AB as a Consultant, where they primarily focused on test leadership, test planning, and test automation. Malin also had experience as an Account Manager during their time at Sylog Sverige AB.

Malin is also the Founder of Hapida AB, a company that specialized in creating iOS applications. Malin had hands-on experience in Obj-C programming, server programming in Erlang, and graphics design.

Earlier in their career, Malin worked as a Consultant at Enea, where they were involved in software designing for Ericsson. Malin was responsible for the development and maintenance of a platform based on TI DSPs.

Before Enea, Malin was a Systems Tester at Ericsson AB, where they were responsible for testing various IMS products. Malin implemented test tools using C, Erlang, and scripts.

Malin also worked as a Consultant with TietoEnator, where they focused on system testing and support for products like MGWs, MGCs, and SBGs. Malin also implemented test tools for traffic generation using Erlang and C. Overall, Malin has a strong background in testing, leadership, and software development.

Malin Pihl completed their Bachelor's degree in Interclass from Dragonskolan between 1998 and 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Umeå University, which they obtained between 2001 and 2006.
