Szymon Bednarz

Szymon Bednarz currently serves as a Software Developer at Viessmann Research & Development Center, specializing in embedded software development for heat pump systems using the Matlab/Simulink toolchain since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Model-Based Design Project Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation from March 2019 to April 2023, focusing on advanced development projects within the Control Systems R&D Department. Szymon began an academic career as a PhD student and researcher at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, contributing to motor control and fault diagnostics while also teaching. Additional teaching experience was gained at NOVA Centrum Edukacyjne, and early professional exposure occurred as a student intern at Wielton SA. Szymon holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering, as well as a BS in Control Engineering and Robotics, all from Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
