Alexander Ziehe

Alexander Ziehe has a diverse range of work experience. Alexander is currently the Chairman of the German Business Association (GBA), where they are involved in advising and creating opportunities for German and Vietnamese businesses in Vietnam. Alexander is also a Board Member and Delegate to the EuroCham at GBA. Alexander has previously worked at Viessmann as the Managing Director (Operations & Sales Asia Pacific), Director of Business Development Asia-Pacific, and Business Development Consultant. Alexander has experience in business development, operations, and sales in the Asia Pacific region. Alexander has also worked at Allianz SE as an Assistant of the Chief Representative in Beijing, where they were involved in strategic concepts for business development and communications. Alexander has worked at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as a DAAD Post-Graduate Fellow, specializing in language and professional training in China. Alexander has also held positions at xplace Ltd. as an Assistant Content Manager, the German Historical Institute Washington D.C. as a Research Assistant, and the Chair for Economic and Social History as a Student Assistant.

Alexander Ziehe 齐安礼 began their education in 2009 at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic and Social History. In 2012, they participated in a Non-Degree Program at the University of Jyväskylä, specializing in International Studies. Alexander continued their studies at the University of Göttingen, earning a Master of Arts degree in Economics and History from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they furthered their education at Beijing Foreign Studies University, obtaining a Language Degree in Chinese Language. Recently, in 2021, they attended SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen for Business Administration. Alexander holds additional certifications in various fields, including Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor, and a DAAD Language Certificate (English) from DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst.
