Ronen Yacobi has extensive work experience in the field of software development, particularly in the automotive industry. ronen has held various roles in different companies, starting with Vodafone in 2006, where they worked on mobile software architecture. ronen then worked as a Development Engineer at Knorr-Bremse, programming control software for brake systems in heavy-weight trains. After that, they joined Softing, where they worked on the ODX Workshop project, developing diagnostics systems for the automotive industry. ronen also worked at Elektrobit (EB) - Automotive, contributing to RnD projects such as the development of a Flexray-Flexray Gateway. ronen furthered their career at Magna, where they worked on the Surround View System, which involved combining and interpolating video streams from multiple cameras for a 360-degree view of the surroundings. ronen later joined Lear Corporation as a Gateway SW Lead, tasked with managing different network management schemes and protocols. Their career then led him to BMW Group, where they developed software for the electric powertrain and contributed to the next generation of software build block processes. ronen also worked for Objective Software GmbH, Munich as a Gateway Team Lead, overseeing the ongoing development of the gateway solution for BMW. Most recently, they joined HARMAN International as a Senior Software Developer and, eventually, became the DevOps Team Lead at Viessmann. In this role, they focused on heterogeneous pipelines, Python/Flask API programming, and Docker coordination.

Ronen Yacobi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Tel Aviv University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo from 1994 to 1996. ronen also has a degree as an Electronics Technician in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mosinzon Technical High School, which they earned in 1990 and 1991.
