VP Of Engineering at View

Rob Martinson began their work experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Varian in 1995. Rob then moved on to Novellus Systems Inc. in 1997, where they held the same position. In 1999, they became the Director of Engineering at SKE Technology Corp. and transitioned to Novellus Systems Inc. again in 2000 as a Sr. Engineering Manager. From 2005 to 2007, they served as the Director of Engineering at Blue29. In 2007, they joined MiaSolé as the Sr. Director of Engineering before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2013. In 2017, Rob joined Velo3D as the Senior Vice President of Engineering, and they are currently working as the VP of Engineering at View, Inc.

Rob Martinson graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Prior to this, they attended the College of San Mateo from 1989 to 1991, where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Drafting Technology. In addition, Rob obtained a certification as a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 1994. There is no specified information regarding their time at Berkeley Extension.
